What to say in email after dropping your Resume?

You did lot of work while preparing your resume and you are finally satisfied with your resume. After submitting your resume, you will be thinking about your offer letter and you are eagerly looking forward but then, you did not receive it. So, what do you do now?

You can never make repeated calls to the company and this is not acceptable. Therefore, you must make a polite request through email and wait for a reply from the company.

After a gap of 5-7 days, forward a requesting mail to the company that you have sent your resume for a position and that you are awaiting a reply from the company.

State in your email your contact No. and other personal details of residential address so that you will be receiving a communication from the company.

The format of an email should be as follows :

Respected sir,

I take the opportunity to forward this request mail to you which is about my resume submitted to you on [date] for the position of [specify].

Kindly intimate the status as I am eagerly waiting for your reply.
