When writing a resume you must remember the fact it should promote you and your presentation should be absolutely professional.
Basing on your resume, you will be called for an interview and will be given a job.
Give a complete detail about previous employer, duration of work period and the activities you have taken up and how successful you were in achieving the tasks.
You must endeavor to the fullest to give possible future employers an idea about your performance and how best your contribution will give satisfaction to your boss.
Therefore your effort on designing your resume should be very good and of how you are going to work for them.
Include your job objective and give a perfect view to your employer that keeps his interest.
The two different types of resumes i.e. chronological and functional are dependent on the format that your employer is looking for in your resume.
Generally the format that is accepted and preferred is chronological by employers. This is quite perfect if you are not really changing any fields.
The functional format of resume is chosen if you are changing fields and you have certain skills that are transferable to different jobs.
If you simply do not have any kind of experience, then it is always advisable to volunteer and gain some experience and this can be included in your resume.
One excellent thing that you can do on your resume is to try and impress your employer.
You can impress by stating certain problems that happened in your previous job and what are the actions you have taken to solve it and how what you did and how it benefited you and the company.
Including hobbies and interests is really not required unless it is closely relevant the job you are applying for, for instance if you are applying for a teacher job, your hobbies of gardening and sports will surely help you in getting the job.
